We need a paradigm shift away from the classic 9–5 work hours to an individual work life design. This results in higher productivity, healthier employees, and a reduction in healthcare costs.

WHAT IS LIFE NAVIGATION?

The Life Navigation program consists of five sessions, three hours per training session, and up to 15 employees per Life Navigation session:

Session 1: Timekeeper – control your time
Session 2: Pilot – set direction in your life
Session 3: Conductor – keep work and life in sync with your biological clock
Session 4: Space Creator – choose the right surroundings for the task
Session 5: Super Navigator – to live is to navigate

During the Life Navigation program the employees are given the opportunity to design their own schedule and work location. It’s hard to change without broad social acceptance, and therefore the Life Navigation program is a collective journey for developing individual work life designs. Life Navigation is creating a sustainable work culture with and a new language around how we best work together by using our individual strengths and differences.

3 STEPS TO IMPLEMENT LIFE NAVIGATION

Step 1 – Life Navigation Kick-off
The Life Navigation journey starts with a kick-off of 1-2 hours. The CEO and HR set the scene by telling all the employees why the management team has chosen to implement Life Navigation. Thereafter the founder of Super Navigators, Camilla Kring, is giving a keynote speech about the philosophy of Life Navigation, the story of work from agrarian society to knowledge society and why we must set ourselves free from the inner farmer and unlock the industrial clocks. Expect the unexpected.

Step 2 – Life Navigation Program (5×3 hours)
The Life Navigation training program helps you and your colleagues achieve the optimal rhythm of working and personal life. It’s a new mindset + tools to navigate in the 21st Century.

Step 3 – Implement flexibility in the culture and structure of the organization.
All employees are empowered to come up with ideas to implement Life Navigation in the culture and structure of the organization. The ideas are collected in session five at the Life Navigation program. The purpose of this exercise is to ensure that a flexible work culture is anchored in the organization’s personnel politics, e-mail culture, meeting culture and in the branding of the workplace. All the ideas are presented for the management team, and they decide which ideas they will implement in the organization.
